Why does my dog bark at me when im eating?

My dog Bruno is 6mo. old and every time i go to eat something he barks at me. When i tell him NO! he starts jumping around biting the air and barking at me some more.So i remove him from the room and put him in his cage. but this has not worked at all, i continue to have the same problem.
Any tips for dealing with this behavior?

Your dog saying, 'i am king give me food, this is not your domain (dining table)'.

Dont look at him, dont talk to him and see how long it takes for him to get bored.

Otherwise, at the very moment he starts up, find something, maybe like a spray bottle and spray him the instant he starts. Soon enough he will associate the spray bottle with barking at you while you eat.
