I would like to buy an Innotek Electric Dog fence, but am concerned my dog will get into the pool w the collar on.

I have a boxer who throws herself at the front door or jumps up and tries to open it. She is destroying the door. She has an radio fence device on her and I was thinking of putting it so she can't come near the door. But I would rather try a different solution. ANy experts out there!!

I recently purchased the kit for a Guardian (Petsafe) Underground Fence, plus additional flags and wire as needed.

My backyard is 300 yards long and 90 yards across, wood fenced in on three sides. The fourth side is my house. My inside dogs dig out. This is to make it so the don't have the time at the fence TO dig under!

I'm not going to put it underground except at gates, because it would be a hassle to find the problem if there was a split somewhere. I'd like to attach it to the wooden fence and am considering construction staples. I'm a 130 lb no-muscle girl. I do NOT have an electric stapler. I've only ever had to use it to put shingles on our new shed.

Any other, viable ideas? Or should I should I just buck up and do it in portions until my arm dies?

I want to be able to sit outside with my dog without chaining him this summer. I do not want an electric dog fence. I guess ideally I am looking for like a pen fence only smaller and only 3 sided. Like a little picket gate fence that folds in and out and is not permanent does such a thing exist?

how does one really know if a cat that can jump the fence will come back. we have an 8mth and 3yr old cat the 3yr old is preety lazy and sleepy but she jumped the fence the other day when i took them in the yard the 8mth old has been in the yard before and has never tried to jump the fence but this new one did jump the fence luckily i went around and opened the backyard door and she ran back in.

how does one know that they will jump the fence and return i cannot keep them inside all day they get cooped up and depressed.

no they dont play with each other that much we are pretty sure all they do is sleep all day and once we take them out they start running around.

even if the old one does jump the fence i want her to come back

My dogs won't leave the yard if the gate is left open. It seems they just like to bark. One is a Rat Terrier and the other is a Jack Russell/Schnauzer mix. They seem to keep each other barking especially the JR/S mix. They have never bit anyone and listen to me in any other situation. Please Help.
