What Sims 2 expansion pack should I get next?
I recently received the Sims 2 Double Deluxe for my computer. It came with the Nightlife and the Party Stuff expansion pack. It is so much fun to play! I was thinking of maybe asking for another expansion pack for Christmas. Which one would you recommend next? University? Pets? Bon Voyage?
I have most of the expansion packs, except the latest (Apartment Life, Bon Voyage, & Free Time). I'd highly recommend Seasons. It adds a LOT of different game playing styles and choices to the Sims. I really liked University when it first came out. But it got boring, at least to me, quickly. Pets also got old fast. Unless you liked the Pets EP from the first Sims. To me it just added animals. Where as with the Seasons one you get weather, gardens, plant people, orchards, and fishing.
Open for Business was fun as well, but I hardly ever have Sims run businesses anymore.
It also depends on your system. I have a good computer, but still lag when transitioning to downtown and other lots. Therefore I don't use the businesses that I can get there. And having all the Sims on your home lot can get annoying.
It depends on your game play too. Do you like challanges? What types of stories do you like to create? Search the Sims BBS and see what type of challenges or scenarios interest you then get the EP that would be needed for it.
