Help!!! Is my 5 month old drinking enough milk?

I have read that 24-32 oz in a 24 hr. period, but for example when he wakes he will have a 4 or 5 oz bottle and then when he goes to daycare I give them a thermo with his water at it hold up to 16 oz of water he is there from 7 am to about 4 pm. when I pick him up his thermo is left with 8 oz so he is only drinking 8 oz all morning?? he is also eating one veggie gerber and some cereal as well okay by the doctor. when we pick him up he will have another 4 oz bottle and then a 4-5 oz bottle before bed. then he wakes at 1am to feed either 5-6 oz and then goes back to sleep, does this sound about right? he is bottle feed

Oh, I just think it is so sad that your 5-month-old baby is in day care and you have no idea how much he's eating during the day.
Why don't you ask the day care workers how much they are giving him?
A 5-month-old baby should be eating enough during the day so that they can sleep through the night. But maybe you don't mind getting up with him in the middle of the night, since that's the only time you have to spend with him.
